NOTICE FOR ADMISSION

Classes Nursery I & nursery II Academic Session 2012-13

Classes Transition to Class III Academic Session 2012-13

CLASSES NURSERY I & NURSERY II
ACADEMIC SESSION 2012 – 2013

A child born between 01.04.2008 and 31.03.2009 is eligible for admission to Nursery I, and a child born between 01.04.2007 and 31.03.2008 is eligible for admission to Nursery II.

Prospectus and registration form for the session 2012-2013 will be available from the School against a payment of Rs.200/-

In the first phase, the above forms will be available from the school from July 5, 2011 to July 18, 2011 between 9.00 am and 11.00 am and also between 2.00 pm and 3.30 pm, on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Duly filled in registration forms are to be dropped (in a sealed envelope) into the boxes earmarked for Nursery I & Nursery II between July 6, 2011 and July 20, 2011.

The School’s admission policy is displayed on the notice board, issued with the prospectus and is also available on the website www.southpoint.edu.in. Applicants will be divided into the following categories:

i	SIBLING (Own brother/sister presently studying in SPS/SPHS)
ii	ALUMNI (Father/Mother ex-student)
iii	RESIDENT OF NEIGHBOURHOOD (Those who stay under the listed PIN codes)
iv	GENERAL (Anyone who does not fall in any of the above categories)

Self attested photo copies of the following MUST be enclosed along with the form:

(a)	Birth Certificate of the candidate issued by the Municipal Corporation
(b)	Residence Proof (Passport, Ration Card, Electricity Bill, Voter Identity Card or Driving Licence of either parent)
(c)	Sibling’s Identity Card or previous year’s progress report ( if a student of SPS / SPHS)
(d)	Parent’s Madhyamik certificate / marksheet (in case of alumni of South Point High School)

Parents must certify that all the information provided by them is correct and they understand that if the information is found to be incorrect or false, their application is liable to be rejected without intimation.

The admission process has been carefully designed to provide equal opportunity to all applicants and to maintain transparency.

Every year, we have more applicants than the number of seats available. Therefore, if a child is unable to secure admission, it is in no way a reflection of his/her calibre.

Parents must also understand that the application/registration does not guarantee admission to their ward.

CLASSES TRANSITION TO CLASS III
ACADEMIC SESSION 2012 – 2013

There are vacancies in Classes Transition, I, II and III for the Academic Session 2012-13. However, there are no vacancies in Classes IV & V.

Prospectus and registration form will be available from the School against a payment of Rs 200/-.

The above forms will be available from the school from January 4, 2012 to January 6, 2012 between 9.00 am and 11.00 am and also between 2.00 pm and 3.30 pm.

Duly filled in registration forms are to be dropped (in a sealed envelope) in the box provided for the purpose, between January 5, 2012 and January 11, 2012.

Self attested photocopies of the following must be enclosed along with the form:

(a)	Birth Certificate of the candidate issued by the Municipal Corporation
(b)	Residence Proof (Passport, Electricity Bill, Voter I Card or Driving Licence of either parent)
(c)	Sibling’s ID Card or last year’s progress report (if a student of SPS /SPHS)
(d)	Parent’s Madhyamik Certificate, in case of alumni of South Point High School
(e)	Marksheet of the Half-yearly /Second Term Examination, 2011-2012.
