Heartfelt Thanks to Parents and Guardians
We have received an overwhelming response to our appeal for collection of funds for the relief and rehabilitation of the victims of Aila. We extend our heartfelt thanks to you, dear parents for motivating our pupils to come forward at this crucial hour and lend a helping hand to those who are not as fortunate as them. The staff & students of South Point School & South Point High School have collected a sum of Rs.32,37,236.50 to which the South Point Education Society has contributed a sum of Rs.7,62,763.50. Thus a corpus of 40 Lacs has been formed. We intend to use this amount productively for the rehabilitation of people living in the cyclone affected areas.

We are also happy to share with you the information that the Department of Education, Government of West Bengal has very kindly issued a No Objection Certificate to South Point High School for a dual affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. We have already filed our application for affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education and we await confirmation from their end.

We are confident that the dual affiliation will lend a new dimension to South Point giving it an opportunity to cater to the varied needs of its pupils.

With warm regards
