It was inaugurated by the eminent sculptor Sri Bipin Behari Goswami. A variety of exhibits from South Point School was displayed which included seven hundred sixty five pictures (drawings, water colours, pastels, oil sketches) and about one thousand five hundred craft items (flower vases, terracotta plates, wall hangings, dolls pen stands etc.). Apart from these the craft items made in the workshops held earlier were also displayed. These were two hundred twenty five in number and included bags, book covers, hand fans, party caps, painted umbrellas, masks, vases and two big canvases and collages.

Students of II – V had also worked on theme projects. These were :-
