Inter-House competitions are held throughout the year and at the end, prizes are awarded to individual winners and the Houses concerned. These generate a spirit of healthy competition in the sphere of co-curricular and other activities.
Each House is under the charge of a Housemaster/mistress who, besides being a teacher and a guardian, is a link among all students of his/her House. On him/her rests the decision on when and where to strike a balance between curricular and extra-curricular activities of an individual student.
He/She also ensures that pupils identify themselves completely with their respective Houses. By the time a Pointer reaches senior classes, we expect that the sense of belonging to and pride in the House are deeply rooted. |
