Karate Training Classes


Learning Karate is compulsory in South Point School. Pupils from Classes II to V take lessons from professional coaches in the Kyokushin style. On the days Karate Classes are scheduled, pupils are to come to School in the Karate uniform, failing which they will not be allowed to attend classes. Optional Karate classes are held in High School on Saturdays. And Pointers – whether juniors or from High School – have been consistently winning laurels in Karate competitions across the State.

The Priyamvada Birla Scholarship will be awarded every year, starting from 2013, to meritorious students belonging to the low income group, pursuing their studies in under-graduate courses in Colleges and Institutes in West Bengal on Merit cum Means Basis.
