The 66 th Foundation Day of South Point was celebrated at South Point School on Monday, April 01, 2019. Members of Staff who had completed 35 and 25 years of service were felicitated with mementoes and cheques. A cultural programme was presented by the staff members of South Point School and South Point High School. The teachers of the High School presented a programme named “Aanondodhara” – based on the ragas sung at the different times of the day.

Activity Club Annual Programme 2019
Annual Show of Saturday Activity Club
The annual show of the Saturday Activity Club was staged on March 16, 2019 in the School Auditorium. Around 200 students participated in various items ranging from Indian Vocal Music and Bharatanatyam to Western Dance, Roller Skating, Drama & Elocution both English & Bengali and instrumentals. Their parents and members of staff saw them perform. Two rounds of Chess were played by the students learning Chess in the Activity Club. The games were played in the Staff Hall and the parents of the young players were allowed to see them play.

1st April, 2019 was the 66th Foundation Day of South Point School. To celebrate the occasion, children of all classes will be treated to ice-cream on 09.04.2019.
Each child must bring a napkin.

Answer-scripts of the Annual Examination were shown to the pupils of Classes VI & VII on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
Workshop
An In-house workshop on ‘Assessment and Evaluation’ was held for teachers of Mathematics for the High School (IX to XII) on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Physics Laboratory.
On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, teachers of Computer Science and Computer Studies attended the In-house workshop on ‘Assessment and Evaluation’ from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Physics Laboratory.
