Pupils of Classes IX & X participated in Tanjim, the Inter-school Fest, organized by Gokhale Memorial Girls School at their school premises on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Debakshi Chakraborty of Class X E (A) secured the third position in Folk Songs.

Pupils of Classes VI, VII & VIII participated in ABHILASHA, the Inter-school Fest, organized by Lakshmipat Singhania Academy at their school premises on Friday, August 02, 2019. Our students secured second position in Quiz and first position in the Carnival Stall where theme was ‘An Ode to Gandhi’

Pupils of Classes X to XII participated in the Inter-school Fest named ‘Karma Yatra 2019’, organized by Interact Club of La-Martiniere School for Boys / Girls at their school premises on Saturday, August 03, 2019. Our school participated in various events and secured the first position in Karma Motion and Karma Explore and the third position in Karma Venture

The Inter-house Singing Competition for Classes VI, VII & VIII was held in two phases in the School premises on Thursday, July 25, 2019 and Thursday, August 01, 2019. Around 250 pupils participated in the event that was judged by Smt. Madhumita Ghosh, Smt. Sutanima Roy Biswas, Smt. Madhurima Bhattacharya and Smt. Ankita Ghosh. Smt. Shatarupa Sen, teacher of the School participated in the Capacity Building Programme on ‘Inclusion and Inclusive Strategies’ to Create Awareness Regarding the Meaning of Disability, the Challenges and Need Based Intervention, organized by the Centre for Excellence, CBSE, held at Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, on Monday, July 29, 2019 and Tuesday, July 30, 2019. The resource person was Ms. Rashmi Mantri.

A Capacity Building Programme on Science, organized by the Centre for Excellence, CBSE was held at the School premises on Monday, July 29, 2019 and Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Smt. Apala Chakraboty, the resource person of CBSE conducted the programme. From different CBSE schools, 61 teachers of Science including Sri Shubhankar Mozumdar, Smt. Arjita Ray Chaudhuri and Smt. Gargi Dey of South Point High School participated in the programme.

Pupils of Class XI attended an Interactive Session by the renowned author Mr. Ashwin Sanghi, organized by Mahadevi Birla World Academy on Friday, August 02, 2019 at Sarala Birla Hall.

Two teams from Classes XI & XII participated in an Inter-school Quiz named ‘Summer Invitation Quiz’, organized by Dalhousie Institute on Friday, August 02, 2019.

The School Football Team participated in the Kolkata School Football League held at NKDA Stadium at New Town, Kolkata from Friday, July 26, 2019 to Saturday, August 03, 2019. South Point team reached the quarter finals.

The School Football Team participated in the Kolkata School Football League held at NKDA Stadium at New Town, Kolkata on Friday, July 26, 2019 and won the qualifying match against Salt Lake English Medium School by 3-1 goals.

The School team participated in various events in M.P. Blitz-2019, the Inter-school Fest, organized by M.P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School on Friday, July 26, 2019 at their school premises. The award for the second position in Music Braikz went to South Point High School.

Pupils of Class XII participated in the Inter-school Quiz Competition, organized by the Income Tax Department on 24th July, 2019 (Income Tax Day) at Aayakar Bhavan, Kolkata. South Point High School secured the first position.

Rangeet Majumdar of Class III G (Afternoon) had participated in Prof. Samarendra Nath Chakraborty Memorial All Bengal Open Chess Tournament 2019 held at Prafulla Sadan, Habra on July 6 & 7, 2019. He scored 4½ points out of 8 rounds and was ranked 1st in the Under 9 category. Rangeet received a trophy and a certificate.

Lakshmipat Singhania Academy organised Indradhanush, Fun on Wheels on July 26, 2019. This inter-school event provided a platform for the young contestants to foster physical and mental agility, problem solving and navigational skills. Teams were restructured by merging the participating schools and each team was involved in a gamut of outdoor activities. Eight Pointers from Classes II to V participated in this event. One team comprising four Pointers and four pupils of Lakshmipat Singhania Academy lifted the Championship Trophy. All participants received certificates and goodie-bags. The winners received books as prizes.
