A Parent-Teacher Meeting for Classes VI to XII was held on Tuesday, October 01, 2019.
Participation
Niladri Manna – VI D (A) and Swastik Roy – VIII H (A) participated in the Inter-school Literary Meet at Shri Shikshayatan School on Monday, September 30, 2019. They were accompanied by Smt. Chaitali Mukhopadhyaya.
Social Service
Daan Utsav, Day-II (30.09.2019), pupils of the School distributed 90 new Salwar Suits and 30 new T-shirts to mentally unwell and homeless women and men staying now in ISHWAR SANKALPA, a home in Chetla, Kolkata.
Daan Utsav, Day-III (01.10.2019), pupils of the School distributed 218 new clothes for girls, 380 new clothes for boys and 80 bed-sheets to GOONJ, an organization working on poverty alleviation, rural development and disaster relief and rehabilitation.
CBSE East Zone Competition
The School team participated in the CBSE Far East Zone Inter-school Chess Championship-2019 held at the Guwahati Public School, Guwahati (Assam) from September 25, 2019 to September 28, 2019. The following Medals were secured by the School:-

All participants from South Point High School Teams have qualified for the National Inter-school Championship to be held at New Delhi from November 09 to 12, 2019.
The School Team (U/14 Boys & U/19 Boys) participated in the CBSE Far East `Zone Inter-school Badminton Tournament-2019 held at Delhi Public School, Dibrugarh (Assam) from September 28, 2019 to September 30, 2019. The U/14 team lost the match in the first round and the U/19 team lost the game in Quarter Finals.
The School U/19 (Boys) Basketball Team participated in the CBSE Far East Zone Inter-school Basketball Championship held at Burnpur Riverside School, Burnpur, West Bengal from September 27, 2019 to October 01, 2019. The team lost the game in the Quarter Final.
South Point High School participated in the CBSE Far East Zone Swimming Competiton-2019 held at Sanskar International School. Odisha, from September 30, 2019 to October 03, 2019. The swimming team of the School won 21 Gold, 14 Silver and 24 Bronze Medals. South Point High School was declared the second best team in the overall Championship. Ten participants from the School have also been selected for the National Swimming Competition to be held at Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) from November 11 to 16, 2019.
The School team participated in the CBSE East Zone Inter-school Table Tennis Tournament-2019 held at Krishna Public School, Bhilai on October 13 & 14, 2019. The following Medals were secured by the School:-

Out of the above, four participants from the School have been selected for the CBSE National Table Tennis Tournament to be held at Noorpur, Bunor (UP) from November 09 2019 to November 14, 2019.
The School Handball Team participated in the CBSE East Zone Handball Competition held at Pragjyoti School, Guwahati (Assam) from October 18 to October 20, 2019. The School Team secured the Second Position in the competition.
Classes II & III
The biennial Art & Craft Exhibition of the School will be held in the month of January, 2020. The pupils will draw pictures on any topic in the class itself, best of which will be selected. They must bring 11” × 15” cartridge / chart paper and oil pastels on November 8, 2019 for this purpose. Margins must be drawn on all four sides of the paper and the pupil’s name, class, section and session to be written on the reverse.
