Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony

You are cordially invited to witness the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of South Point School and South Point High School, this Saturday 4th July 2020 from 5 pm onwards. The event will be conducted online and webcast live on the Facebook pages of the Schools.
 
We are delighted to inform that our Chief Guest for the programme is Shri Amish Tripathi, celebrated author, columnist and Director of The Nehru Centre, London, who will join us live from the UK. Well known for his Shiva Trilogy and the Ram Chandra series, Shri Tripathi’s eight books have sold more than 5.5 million copies in India and have been translated into 10 Indian and 9 international languages. He was recently listed by India Today among the Top 50 Most Powerful People in India. Forbes India has regularly ranked him among the top 100 most influential celebrities in India.
 
Recipients of more than 150 prizes will be announced during the programme. These include the M. P. Birla Puja Utkarsh Samman 2019 and various awards and schemes under the M. P. Birla Smarak Kosh (South Point), including the coveted Founder’s Medal (Satikanta Guha Memorial Award) for all-rounder students and the Priyamvada Birla Bravehearts Award for those continuing their studies while fighting great odds.
 
Students of both the Junior School and High School will present a unique cultural production, “Memories and Discoveries – a virtual trip”, which has been performed by them individually from their homes, and edited to form a seamless presentation.
