We would like to inform you the criteria that will be followed to select pupils for admission to Class XI, Academic Session 2020-2021. Please note that due to the limited number of seats, all pupils cannot be admitted to Class XI, especially to the streams of their choice.

Pupils who opt to study under the Science stream will be required to appear for an Admission Test (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) tentatively scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 07, 2019. The timing of the test will be intimated in due course. Besides the Admission Test, their performance in all relevant internal assessments will be given weight, while compiling the final Merit List for admission in Class XI.

Pupils who opt to study under the Commerce and the Humanities streams will be considered for admission on the basis of their performance in the relevant internal assessments only.

Pupils opting for Mathematics as an Elective subject under the Humanities stream are required to appear for an ‘Eligibility – cum – Aptitude Test’ in Mathematics, also scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 07, 2019.

The pupil’s attendance record along with his/her disciplinary record will be considered before granting admission. Also, please be informed that the following subjects are offered in the curriculum of Class XI: English, Bengali, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, Legal Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.
