The Scouts and Guides is the largest world-wide, non-political youth organization to which Bharat Scouts and Guides belongs. It was founded by Lord Baden Powell in 1907 for boys and later adapted to include girls in the year 1910. It has the fundamental principles to train the youth of today to become smart, disciplined, self reliant and above all, responsible good citizens. Students are encouraged to take part in community activities, to perform their duty to God and work towards national integration. The highest award for a Cub is the Golden Arrow, and for a Bulbul is the Hirak Pankh.
Students of Classes I to III may register for the Bulbul Flock (for girls) or the Cub Pack (for boys) of the School, classes for which are held on Saturdays from 9.15 am to 10.15 am. Guardians of students willing to join must contact Ms Monika Ghosh (for Bulbul classes) and Mr Souvik Ghosh (for Cub classes) on April 26, 27 or 30, 2018 between 11.45 am and 12.15 pm. Classes for the same will begin from May 5, 2018.
Pupils who have regularly attended Bulbul / Cub classes during the 2017-2018 session may enrol for these classes to be held in the current academic session.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Mindspark, an e-learning programme (developed by Educational Initiatives) was introduced in our school in 2016-17 as an integral part of our curriculum. It has proved to be an important learning tool for both teachers and students of our school.
We are happy to share that Educational Initiatives is in the process of redesigning the Mindspark website. The new website is to go live from June1, 2018. We have agreed to pilot this new Mindspark website in its developmental stage (which is called the beta version of Mindspark).
As part of the changeover, we would like you to take note of the following points with respect to Mindspark usage by your child –
Thank you
Yours faithfully
