Saraswati Puja Celebrations

Saraswati Puja was celebrated in school on January 22, 2018. The day began with the ‘puja’ followed by the ‘aarti’. Thereafter, a beautiful cultural programme was put up by both the schools. The choir of South Point School began the programme with a Rabindrasangeet befitting the occasion. This was followed by a dance by graceful little dancers of the junior school. The students of South Point High School put up a solo and a group dance. Two singers of the senior school mesmerised everyone through their songs – a bhajan and a rendition on Todi Raga. After the cultural programme, ‘pushpanjali’ was offered to the Goddess and ‘prasad’ was distributed to one and all. The school, otherwise, remained closed on that day.
