The Priyamvada Birla Scholarship, instituted and funded by the Madhav Prasad Priyamvada Birla Apex Charitable Trust, launched in the academic session 2013-14, and the Jaswant Singh Lodha Scholarship, instituted and funded by the Lodha Charitable Trust, launched in the academic session 2018-19, are both administered by the South Point Education Society. The two scholarships are open to meritorious but needy students, studying undergraduate degree courses viz. B.A., B.Com, B. Sc, BBA, BCA, LLB, B.E. / B. Tech., MBBS / BDS or similar courses in recognized colleges / institutions in the State of West Bengal. Aspirants whose annual family income from all sources is less than Rs.75,000 are only eligible to apply.
This Scholarship Schemes award 30 successful aspirants each a sum of Rs.24,000/- per year towards meeting their expenses for tuition fees, boarding and mess charges and study materials. It shall remain valid for the entire duration of their course, but not exceeding 4 (four) years, provided they maintain a certain academic standard.

The Priyamvada Birla Scholarship will be awarded every year, starting from 2013, to meritorious students belonging to the low income group, pursuing their studies in under-graduate courses in Colleges and Institutes in West Bengal on Merit cum Means Basis.
