Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony 01/07/2020

You are cordially invited to witness the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of South Point School and South Point High School, this Saturday 4th July 2020 from 5 pm onwards. The event will be conducted online and webcast live on the Facebook pages of the Schools.
 
We are delighted to inform that our Chief Guest for the programme is Shri Amish Tripathi, celebrated author, columnist and Director of The Nehru Centre, London, who will join us live from the UK. Well known for his Shiva Trilogy and the Ram Chandra series, Shri Tripathi’s eight books have sold more than 5.5 million copies in India and have been translated into 10 Indian and 9 international languages. He was recently listed by India Today among the Top 50 Most Powerful People in India. Forbes India has regularly ranked him among the top 100 most influential celebrities in India.
 
Recipients of more than 150 prizes will be announced during the programme. These include the M. P. Birla Puja Utkarsh Samman 2019 and various awards and schemes under the M. P. Birla Smarak Kosh (South Point), including the coveted Founder’s Medal (Satikanta Guha Memorial Award) for all-rounder students and the Priyamvada Birla Bravehearts Award for those continuing their studies while fighting great odds.
 
Students of both the Junior School and High School will present a unique cultural production, “Memories and Discoveries – a virtual trip”, which has been performed by them individually from their homes, and edited to form a seamless presentation.

Notice: Books Delivery Delay 18/06/2020

SPS/SPHS: Notice to Guardians 08/06/2020

Since some guardians have been unable to place order for books due to technical / connectivity issues , we have decided to extend the date for placing the order for books till midnight tonight/ tomorrow ( 8.6.20 / 9.6.20).


SPS: ADMISSION 2021-2022 05/06/2020

Notification for admission to Classes Nursery I and Nursery II for the Academic Session 2021-22 will be published on the School Notice Board/Website www.southpoint.edu.in on 15.07.2020.

A child born between 01.04.2017 and 31.03.2018 is eligible for admission to Nursery I and a child born between 01.04.2016 and 31.03.2017 is eligible for admission to Nursery II.

The Priyamvada Birla Scholarship will be awarded every year, starting from 2013, to meritorious students belonging to the low income group, pursuing their studies in under-graduate courses in Colleges and Institutes in West Bengal on Merit cum Means Basis.
