NOTICE FOR EXTERNAL CANDIDATES – CLASS XI (2019-2020)
UNDER THE CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION

ADMISSION TO COMMERCE & HUMANITIES

All external Candidates interested to study Commerce or Humanities in Class XI at South Point High School are to fill in the form available online on the school website. The duly filled in application form with the scanned copies of Mid-Term/ Post Mid-Term / Selection Test / Rehearsal Exam / Half-yearly result of Class X / the Annual result of Class IX or equivalent document, and the Birth Certificate must be submitted online by Sunday, January 20, 2019.

All candidates have to appear for a written test in English. An Aptitude-cum-Eligibility Test in Mathematics will also be conducted for all pupils who intend to study Humanities with Mathematics as a subject in Class XI.

The list of candidates eligible to appear for the written test in English and the Aptitude-cum-Eligibility Test in Mathematics will be published on The list of candidates eligible to appear for the written test in English and the Aptitude-cum-Eligibility Test in Mathematics will be published on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

The tests will be held on Saturday, February 02, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. onwards

ACADEMIC SESSION 2019 – 2020

1. There are a few vacancies in Classes I & II for the Academic Session 2019-20. However, there are no vacancies in classes III to V.

2. A child born between 01.04.2012 and 31.03.2013 is eligible for admission to Class I while a child born between 01.04.2011 and 31.03.2012 is eligible for Class II.

3. It is compulsory that registration for admission be done online through the school website www.southpoint.edu.in between January 7, 2019 and January 9, 2019 against a payment of ` 500/- through the payment gateway provided on the school website. Payment can be made either using a credit card, debit card or through netbanking option given on the payment gateway.

4. The online registration form must be filled in as per instructions given on the website. Parents are to note all instructions carefully.

5. After filling in the online registration form, parents are to take a print of the same along with the payment acknowledgement receipt on A4 size paper.

6. Parents must affix the candidate’s as well as their own recent passport size colour photographs on the printed registration form. They must certify that all information provided by them is correct by signing at the end of the form.

7. Parents are to submit the print out of the registration form along with copies of all the requisite documents at the school office between 1.30 pm and 3.30 pm, on the dates specified while registering online. They are also to collect the school prospectus at the same time.

8. List of selected candidates will be put up on the school notice board / website on January 29, 2019.

9. The admission process has been carefully designed to provide equal opportunity to all applicants. Every year, we have more applicants than the number of seats available. Therefore, if a candidate is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection of his/her calibre.

10. Admission will be confirmed only after the Report Card of the final term of the previous class is produced.

11. Parents must also understand that registration / short listing does not guarantee admission to their wards. They may check the application status from time to time on the school website.

12. In case of any problem in the process of filling up the registration form, please send an email to support@buzzyears.com or call on +91 8709350700, giving full particulars and nature of the problem. Please do not call the school office. All emails will be replied to within two working days.

13. If any information is found to be incorrect or false, or in case proper documentation is not provided, the application is liable to be cancelled.

The date and time of interaction will be informed to the parents through the email ID provided by them at the time of registration, as well as through SMS on their mobile numbers. The list of such shortlisted candidates will also be published on the school notice board and the website on January 25, 2019. Interaction with the parents will tentatively be held in the last week of January, 2019.
