The Report Cards of Annual Examination of Class XI were handed over to the pupils in a Parent-Teacher Meeting held on Saturday, April 06, 2019.
27 pupils and 04 teachers participated in a camping programme under the International Award for the Young People, at Panchalingeshwar (Odisha) from April 02, 2019 to April 05, 2019. They took part in Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Zoomering, Navigation, Survival Activities, Burma Bridge Crossing, self cooking, First-aid, Nature Study, etc. After their scheduled programme, they visited Chandipur Sea Beach and the Panchalingeshwar Temple.

A Refresher Training programme on OHSAS 18001:2007 was conducted by Mr. Souvik Banerjee of Simple Solutions, Kolkata for the Emergency Response Team, the Implementation Team, and the Internal Audit Team on Tuesday, April 02, 2019 in South Point School Library. Some members of the Management team, Superintending teachers, Assistant Superintending teachers and Teacher Consultants also attended the programme as invitees.
The 66 th Foundation Day of South Point was celebrated at South Point School on Monday, April 01, 2019. Members of Staff who had completed 35 and 25 years of service were felicitated with mementoes and cheques. A cultural programme was presented by the staff members of South Point School and South Point High School. The teachers of the High School presented a programme named “Aanondodhara” – based on the ragas sung at the different times of the day.
The annual show of the Saturday Activity Club was staged on March 16, 2019 in the School Auditorium. Around 200 students participated in various items ranging from Indian Vocal Music and Bharatanatyam to Western Dance, Roller Skating, Drama & Elocution both English & Bengali and instrumentals. Their parents and members of staff saw them perform. Two rounds of Chess were played by the students learning Chess in the Activity Club. The games were played in the Staff Hall and the parents of the young players were allowed to see them play.

An In-house workshop on ‘Assessment and Evaluation’ was held for teachers of Mathematics for the High School (IX to XII) on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Physics Laboratory.
On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, teachers of Computer Science and Computer Studies attended the In-house workshop on ‘Assessment and Evaluation’ from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Physics Laboratory.
50 Cubs and Bulbuls of South Point School were taken to Science City on March 9, 2019. This was an educational trip for them and they also enjoyed themselves. They were provided with breakfast and lunch. Five teachers accompanied them. They were taken to Science City and were brought back to school in a school bus.
