Grandparents’ Day

Grandparents’ Day was celebrated in school on March 1, 2019. All children of Nursery I along with their grandparents were invited to attend the grand event. 152 pupils of Nursery I put up a fantastic programme, the theme of which was ‘It’s Magic’. The little singers of the Nursery Choir sang with full gusto, while the dancers and actors enthralled the audience with their performance. There were four shows in all, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. After each show, the grandparents who formed the audience of that particular show, went to the backyard with their grandchildren where a mini fair was arranged. There were stalls selling candy floss, ice creams, popcorns and other mouth-watering goodies. Tea for grandparents was complimentary. A ball pool, a tumble tosser and a toy train were set up for the little ones to have fun. As the happy little Pointers left school with their grandparents, each child was given a balloon as a reminder of all the fun they had in school that day.
