Annual Examinations of Classes IX and XI (2019-2020) began on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

Class parties were held for the pupils of Classes I, II and III on February 25, 2020. The children came to school in coloured clothes and were shown movies in the classrooms through interactive boards. The children of Transition also saw a movie on February 25, 2020 in the Class IV classrooms.

Class parties were arranged for the little ones of Nursery I, Nursery II and Transition on February 26, 2020. They too came in coloured clothes.

All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) 2020 commenced on Saturday, February 22, 2020. 544 pupils of the School will appear for the above Examination at Kendriya Vidyalaya-Fort William, Kolkata.

South Point High School participated in the CAB U/15 Mayor’s Cup (Second Phase) Cricket Tournament held at Asian International School, Howrah on Thursday, February 20, 2020 and Friday, February 21, 2020.

Internal Audit for South Point High School by the Internal Audit Team of South Point School was held on Monday, February 17, 2020 to conform to the OHSMS in line with the requirement of ISO 45001 : 2018.

The Annual Examinations for Classes VI & VII began on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

The Annual Examination for Class VIII began on Friday, February 14, 2020.

On Monday, February 10, 2020, the School bade farewell to the pupils of Class X who are to appear for AISSE, 2020.

On Tuesday, February 11, 2020, the School bade farewell to the pupils of Class XII who are to appear for AISSCE, 2020.

Akshada Khatua of Nursery II G (Afternoon) had participated in ‘Best of Best Abhijit Seishinkai Inter Club Karate Championship 2020 Best of Best Cup’ organised by Abhijit Seishinkai Karate Do Academy, affiliated to All India Seishinkai Shito-ryu Karate Do Federation, on January 5, 2020. Akshada secured the Bronze medal in the 4–5 years Girls’ Kata category. She also received a certificate.

Somdev Sengupta of Class II E (Morning) participated in the Inter District Table Tennis Championship 2020, held at Athletic Club, Santoshpur, Kolkata on February 8 & 9, 2020. He secured a certificate and a trophy. Somdev also participated in the Inter District Table Tennis Championship, 2020 held at Sahid Smriti Sangha, Dhakuria, Kolkata. He stood 1st in Nursery Boys’ Singles category in this event too and received a certificate, as well as a trophy.

Rudrani Mondal of Class III E (Morning) participated in ‘Anandabazar Patrika School-e’ and stood 3rd in the event ‘Porar Phanke Naache Shera’, held on February 16, 2020. She received a certificate and a medal.

Sreemoyee Sarkhel of Class III A (Morning) participated in the Republic Day Cup 2020, National Level Karate Championship held at National Public School Auditorium, Bangalore on February 1 & 2, 2020, organised by OSK Federation of India. She stood Second in Category 19 and received a medal and a certificate.

On February 12, 2020 the students of Nursery I to Transition brought potatoes and onions to give towards the social service project, ‘Reaching Out’. The children had been asked to bring a minimum of one potato and one onion each. The collection was sent to three NGOs, Navanir, Ektara and Ek Prayas.
